Monday was the start of the second term at school. It always surprises me how quickly the school year goes by. It is hard to believe that we will start singing Christmas songs next week. I have to start Christmas carols as soon as Halloween is over because I will only have each class two more times before the Christmas break. Time really goes by fast!
Joe and Sarah did really well last term. Maybe it was Sarah D's influence. For the first time, both Joe and Sarah have straight A's. The good thing is that Joe has been involved in football and he still has managed to keep his grades up. Sarah has also been able to keep up with both school and work. We probably should have some sort of party for the straight A students.
Joe mentioned that his friend gets a couple hundred dollars for getting all A's. Too bad Joe just gets a party. I am thinking of having a "Lost" party. We are watching the TV series Lost. I got into the show last season and wouldn't let anyone talk while I watched it. I have recorded the shows as they rerun them on TV, so now after dinner we sit around and watch two to three episodes to get everyone ready for the new season. We are in the middle of season one so our party menu would be pretty simple; fish, bananas, coconuts, and mangoes. We will see how "Guitar Hero," "Miss Italy," and "Little Lady Lifeguard" like that.
