We're Off To See The Wizard

Today after school we are going on our trip. Our first stop will be in Saint George to see Big River at the Tuachan. Thursday we will drive into Hollywood and see Wicked. Everyone is so excited to see this. I have been talking about Wicked since I went to New York with Rachael. Both musicals are so good. Good thing I have both sound tracks so that I can "sing my way home."

On Friday and Saturday we will go to Disneyland and California Adventures. Hopefully I will get a chance to put in a few pictures on my blog each day. A few years ago I took pictures of each of my children while we were at Disneyland, "the happiest place on earth." Throughout the day I managed to find their personal, sad moments to capture on film. I later framed the pictures for all to see our wonderful time at Disneyland. The pictures showed them as they were wet, cold, disappointed, and hungry. This year I will try to look for more positive pictures to frame.

We will make the long trip back home on Sunday. It will take about 10 hours to get home. As I told this to my children and Sarah D yesterday they each thought that a ten hour car ride would be a piece of cake compared to the long car ride we made a few months ago to and from Arkansas.
