Feeling a Little Witchy

I always like dressing up for Halloween. I especially enjoy dressing up as a mean character. The best part of dressing like this, is that I get to act like the character. This year I was Madame Maleificent. I roamed the hall frightening all those cute kids who were dressed up like Briar Rose/Sleeping Beauty. Once I found a Sleeping Beauty I would always invite her to take a little nap or try my spinning wheel.

I must have done a great job remaining in character. I noticed quite a few parents taking pictures of me. At one point when I was asking some students how they dare enter my hall during my lunch break, I didn't realize that I had an audience. The parents who were watching laughed and later remarked that they were surprised that I could get the students to leave the halls so quickly.

This is the 2nd time I wore my Maleificent costume. The first time was a little over a year ago when I had the opportunity to put this on and go down stairs during Sarah's Saddies date. Several couples were not following the house rules. I put on the costume, quietly walked down the stairs, flipped on the lights, turned off the "R" rated movie, and told the couples that "R" rated movies where not allowed in my house and that everyone had to have both of their feet on the floor at all times. Let's just say Madame Maleificent can get results fast!

I think my middle name is Malificent. I act that way without a costume. Is there a male Malificent? Because I have seen Bob enforce the same rules with the same tone wearing just his jeans and tshirt. But I think it would be more effective to wear the costume. Where do I get me one of those?

I love the story about how you broke up the Sarah party. Teens do not like parents, much less parents dressed up like a witch.
