Today Marty and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. While I was in Arkansas I scanned a few pictures and even our wedding announcement for this occasion.It's kind of hard to believe that we have been married for 25 years. It is good to know that after 25 years we are still best friends and that we love each other more as each day goes by.
Marty and I met at BYU. We were friend and neighbors for about a year
before we started dating. When Marty asked me out, I didn't really think of it as I date but merely just friends getting together. To be honest, it took me about 3 dates to realize that we were dating. I remember being surprised when one of my roommates told me that he liked me after our 3rd "date."We dated for about 5 months before Marty asked me to marry him. We were engaged in February and got married in August in the Los Angeles Temple. I feel truly blessed to be married to such as wonderful man.
We had big plans for our 25th anniversary but decided to postpone them for a week or so due to Patrick's funeral. Patrick passed away last week due to complications with Marfan's syndrome.
Both Marty and I were able to go to Kansas and attend the funeral and lend support to Kasey and Ron. I am not sure how much good I did there, but I was glad that I had the chance to go and be with the family.

So cute mom. You guys are a great example to Me and Taylor. You look so cute in all those pictures. (You still are the prettiest now) and Taylor can't get over Dad's mustache.
