If you looked at Bonnie's blog you can tell she is definitely a contestant for the "Best Gay Apparel Contest." Her sweater inspired me to extend this contest to the youth of my ward.
I dressed up in my holiday sweater and put on all of my accessories. As I sat down for opening exercises, I had one lady tell me how much she loved my sweater. Once she saw my ear rings, necklace, headband, and bracelet she told me I sure had a lot of Christmas spirit.
As I announced next week's food drive I also told the youth that we were all to "don our gay apparel" for our "Best Gay Apparel Contest." The adults gasped and a few kids laughed--they thought that I didn't realize that the word "gay" had another meaning.
I hope that my sweater inspires the youth like Bonnie's sweater inspired me. I hope to post of our contest next week.

Maybe my sweater is the gayest of them all, but that star fish around your neck, coupled with the candy cane stripe head band makes your total look about as gay as they come.
Oh, and the Santa earings put you over the top.
We had a "Christmas Sweater Party" up in Rexburg. We all wore big christmas sweaters. It was fun..
I love how your turtleneck matches your sweater. When can I get one?
Maybe I can convince the administration here to come out with a Christmas time uniform. That would be fun.
