Pit Stop

It has been one busy summer!
I was supposed to get home from Florida on July 4th. That would have given me a few more hours at home to get things ready for girls' camp. Due to a tornado and hail in Denver we didn't make it home until Monday afternoon. I think I could have driven faster! As soon as I got home I did my laundry and packed up for girls camp.

Girls' camp started on Tuesday and ended on Friday. I have always loved camp and this year was wonderful! It was nice to sit in the canyon, roast marsh mellows, and joke around with the young women.

Once I got home, I did my laundry and went grocery shopping so that Marty and Sarah would have food in the house next week.

On Monday, Joe and I leave for New York City. We are going with the Drama club from his high school. 6 shows in 6 days!

Being at home as been wonderful. I love my bed when I get the chance to sleep in it! I am also a fan of using my own bathroom. I try to get as much done at home as I possibly can when I am here. My garden is actually looking good because of the few minutes I have spent weeding in between trips.

Lately, home has only been a pit stop.
