Christmas break has been lots of fun. We have had a bunch of snow, which means.... shoveling, sliding, and skiing.
Joe and I went skiing a few day before Christmas.

Joe wiped out while going down a black diamond run. This picture was taken right by the Snake Creek lift. I tend to go a lot slower than Joe. I don't fall as much and I can get some great pictures.

Our next and last stop was the Great Western lift. We did not get to go up that lift because the power went out. We went home a little early but we were thrilled that we got a rain check for a free day of skiing!
It isn't a ski trip unless we stop at the 7-11 to get slurpees!

After a nice day of skiing, we were ready to celebrate Christmas!

I think everyone was happy with the gifts that they received.

I know that I loved all of my new gifts. Below is a picture of some slippers that Kathleen made me. I also got new ski boots, a pretty sweater with a matching necklace, a vintage Chicago album, a kindle light and a hollowed out book to hide my kindle in. I also got a white pair of slippers for the temple, a pair of black boots for church, and some gift cards for a dinner and a show!

With new ski boots, I had to go skiing. With our free day passes, we headed up to Brighton again. Surprisingly the power went off again at about the same time it did the last time. We were excited to get another all day ski pass, but when they passed out 1/2 day passes, we couldn't complain. I took some pictures before heading down the mountain for the last time.

That is so awesome that you got 2.5 days of skiing from 1 day. I am jealous!
