Wishing for the Tooth Fairy

I woke up this morning with a loose tooth. Normally at the ripe, old age of 45 one doesn't experience a loose tooth, I'm just lucky that way. I decided that I better floss to see just how loose it was so that I wouldn't end up swallowing it during church or while I was eating. The crown is worth about $2,000. The crown/tooth popped right out. This is the tooth that was implanted a little over a year ago. The whole implant didn't come out, just the tooth part. The dentist guaranteed the implant for three years. No problem, right? Here's the deal, I decided not to return to this particular dentist ever again after he accidentally sliced the side of my tongue with a tool he had in my mouth. The novicane was just beginning to wear off and he hit a nerve. Silly me, I jumped at the wrong time and ended up with about 30 stitches. He actually blamed this all on me. Now I find myself needing some dental work. I have no idea how much another dentist will charge to fix this, or if the problem is more serious than I really want to believe. My plan is to put the crown/tooth under my pillow and see if the tooth fairy will give me some money or better yet fix my tooth while I am asleep.
