Thanksgiving Day 2008
Marty carving the turkey. He gets this honor every year.
The rolls as they are coming out of the oven. Thanks to Rachael they didn't burn!
Kate working hard on the mashed potatoes. It was so nice to have the family help me do the cooking this year!
Fresh turkeys are the best! It was juicy and had a great flavor!
Our Thanksgiving table.
It took longer polishing the flatware than it did preparing and cooking all of the food. This flatware belonged to Marty's parents. They got it in the early 50's. It had never been used. When I opened the box the pieces were still in their original packaging. I think Marty's mom knew how long it would take to polish it. I just hope the polish will last for awhile, at least until Christmas.

Your table was beautiful and I can almost smell the good food. I will let you cook for me anyday!
