Even though it snowed while we were at church yesterday, we still had a pretty "hot" weekend. To start out our hot weekend, Sarah went to the American Fork Prom. Sorry this picture is a little fuzzy. I will do better next week.
Joe has discovered that he really likes hot and spicy foods. He talked me into buying some hot and spicy Cup of Noodles. In the past, he has had to tone it down by adding extra water or adding other ingredients in order to eat it. Yesterday, he challenged Sarah D. to eat the whole cup of noodles without adding extra water or anything else.They start out all smiles.....
Still smiling, Sarah D. eats her cup of noodles like an Italian.I need to learn how to eat pasta with a fork and spoon.
Joe is blowing on his... maybe that will cool it off some.

Even though it brought tears to their eyes, both contestants finished their cup of noodles.We are now looking for a "tie breaker" for the hot food contest. I'm thinking habanero peppers.

Its hard to believe that eating spicey soup can make your face swell. It just makes me cry.
