The New Computer Geek's Busy Week

May is always a busy month, however this May seems to be a little busier than most. Last week was fun, busy, and stressful. I spent the week with my father. I also had an interview for a new teaching position, I practiced the dance festival outside for 4 hours each day with my 700 students, I helped with the school talent show and I tried to keep up with the girls and their "Morp" dates.

My father spent most of his time during the day at my house watching Fox News. When I would get home from school I took him to several places. We went to Wal-Mart, Cabella's, Joe's school choir concert, and on Friday he came to school to watch the talent show and see me dance with the students. We even spent some time looking up some family history information on line. We actually found a lot of new information which was wonderful!

I had an interview to teach P.E. at a different school. I had an interview the week before for an art job. It is interesting how things work out. I won't be teaching either of those subjects, instead I will be teaching computers. I think that I should be okay doing this. I will basically have the same hours that I have now with my Mondays off, however I will start about 30 minutes earlier. I plan on taking a few computer classes over the summer to help me out. The good thing about this is that I have more experience and talent with computers than I do with music. It will be easier for me to learn a new computer program than it would be for me to learn how to play the piano.

Saturday morning we finished digging all of the weeds out of the garden so that we could rototill it in the afternoon. The yard needed to be mowed so that Sarah Rose could bring her Morp group over after the dance to watch a movie. I spent part of the afternoon mowing and trimming. Sarah D needed bread sticks for her group date so I baked a batch of bread sticks. While the bread sticks we rising, my niece Marcie sent me a text that said she was in town znd wanted to drop by for a visit.

With the energy that I had left, I quickly cleaned the house because it had been neglected throughout the busy week. Marcie stayed for about an hour. It was fun to see her. She got a chance to see her grandpa who she hadn't seen for about 7 or so years.
After Marcie left, we went for a quick dinner of Tacos al-pastor. As soon as Marty, my father and I got home I played photographer for Sarah D's Morp group. Here are a few pictures that I took.

Tonight was Seminary graduation. Sarah Rose gave a great talk! It was so nice to listen to her. She prepared it herself and did a wonderful job.

My fun, busy, and stressful week is just the start of all the fun May has to offer!
