Sarah, Sarah D. and I got to New York City Saturday afternoon. We met Sarah D's mom from Italy a few hours later and found our way to the hotel. Everything was great except a lost piece of luggage stuck in Madrid, Spain. We finally got the luggage today and Sarah's mother is happy about that.
We spent Sunday going to church, walking through Central Park, and visiting the Empire State Building.
Today took a subway to Brooklyn, walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, visited Ground Zero, walked through Wall Street, toured the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, ran to Little Italy for a pizza, and shopped in China Town.
We found some great buys in China Town. I am now the owner of Prada and Gucci hand bags.... I am assured they are real! I know they are as real as my Dolce Gabana sunglasses.
I would post some pictures tonight, but I left my camera's computer cable in my room. My feet hurt so bad that I don't think I can walk to the elevator to go up to my room and make it back to the lobby where I get the internet. I am hoping that tomorrow I will be able to walk a few more steps and put some pictures on.
Girls' camp was fun. We had great weather, and the food was great this year. One problem that made the camp a bit difficult was that on Wednesday night I hit my head pretty hard. I really did not think too much about it after my head stopped hurting.
On Thursday, we went on a hike up to "Look-out Mountain" and I got a bad nose bleed. I really didn't think too much about that either. Later that evening I stood up to bear my testimony and when I stood up I had an instant, throbbing migraine. After throwing up about 4 times I was able to sleep. The next day we went home and my migraine was still bad. As I sat in the tub trying to will myself better I noticed that I had a large bump on my head.
Traveling with a head injury has been a challenge. Whenever I try to read a map or a travel book I get dizzy and feel sick to my stomach. I bought some reading glasses today and that has seemed to make things better. Each day I see improvement, so tomorrow I should be back to normal.
Midnight again! I haven't adjusted to the time change. I think I will call it a night and try to put the pictures on tomorrow night if my feet aren't too sore.

I hope you are feeling better today. Sore feet you can handle. its the headache and nausea that would be intolerable.
