Sarah Rose-- A High School Graduate!

The graduating Laurels. We always had a good time in our Laurel class. The Mia Maids next to us always said they could hear us laughing. I don't remember always laughing, but we always had a good lesson and fun time.

Last week we had a surprise "Arrivederci" party for Sarah D. Here are a few pictures of the party. The day after girls' camp, Sarah Rose, Sarah D, and I will fly to New York City to meet her mom who is coming from Italy. Sarah D has had a busy last few weeks in America.

Sarah Rose helped plan and carry out the party. We had American food like hot dogs, brisket, corn on the cob, chips, soda, cookies, and watermelon. After everyone ate they played "capture the flag." We of course had both an American and an Italian flag for the game.
The dance festival turned out really well. It was a hot day and a few kids probably got a bit of a sunburn. All of the grade levels did a great job and the Witch Doctor dance looked really cute. The audiences favorite dance was the Tininkling dance. I would have taken a picture but at the last moment one of my students decided not to do it, so I ended up doing the poles for them.
The video is of Sarah Rose's choir. They had their final concert last week. They sang a collection of Disney songs.

Okay, Don't tell Joe M that I said this but Sarah's choir did a better job on this song than his 5th and 6th grade choir.
