Black Friday Still Blesses My Life

One of my Black Friday purchases was a Cricut. I had been wanting one for a few years, and finally picked one up when it went on sale. I had Kathleen show me how to use it and then I let it sit on top of a dresser for 2 months without using it.

Over the last few weeks, I have finally put it to work. I have cut out letters, I made cute Valentine boxes and today I cut out a bunch of flowers to put on the bulletin boards that we are giving the Young Women in my ward for their birthdays.

I stayed home from school again today and had just enough energy to push a few buttons and cut out a bunch of flowers. I will put the rest of the boards together tomorrow.

I no longer have the buyer's remorse that I felt for the two months that this machine sat unused. Now that I know how to use it and I have some pretty fancy cartridges, I will use it more often.

Beautiful work Deanna! I have had a Cricut on my black Friday list for 2 years now. I am moving it to the number two spot next year, right aftet the 65 inch Plazma TV.

That's cute! My mum just got one, and she was pretty excited about it, but I never really knew what it was or what it did. Hope you feel better!
