I have a Christmas cactcus that doesn't bloom until Valentine's. I have had this plant for several years and it is such a joy to see beautiful flowers during the dreary month of February.
February is probably my least favorite month. I have a tendency to be sick in February, and so far during this month, I haven't had a day where I wasn't sick.
Last year I wasn't sick, I broke my foot. This year I have had a sinus infection that seems to have turned into the flu. I think I should get my money back from both the flu vaccine and the swine flu vaccine.
I am grateful that I have a Valentine cactus to brighten up the house.

I love those things, they are so pretty. My mom has one, and sometimes it blooms around Christmas, sometimes in Jan. It's nice to have something pretty in the dreary winter months!
My mom has three of those and i find that each one blooms at different times of the year, i've almost concluded they bloom when ever they want!!!
