At about 1:00 this afternoon I noticed that I was feeling better and that I wasn't coughing as much. My chest didn't feel as if I had a lead brick duct taped to it. I am thrilled that this sinus infection/cold/flu/bronchitis is on its way out. (hopefully)
Things are looking better but not sounding better. I now have a deep, husky voice.
The good thing about having a low voice is that I can sing with the men at church!
Why is it that when I get sick my voice drops several octaves? I sound as if I have smoked three packs of cigarettes every day for the past 25 years.
Another sign that I have been sick is the development of a cold sore on my lip. I didn't catch it in time, so it will be with me for a few weeks. I usually have medication that I take at the first sign of a cold sore, but for some reason I forgot to call the doctor for a refill the last time I had a cold sore.
I am grateful that I am feeling better even if I sound like a smoker and my lip is swollen and sore!

Toothpaste and salt!! Try it, it will make it go away faster! Your voice is a lot lower, I noticed that today when you answered the phone. Oh yeah, I guess there was a problem with assigning locations, we won't find out where we go for a little while. Bummer.
Ha ha, "Who is that baritone singing behind me? Oh, it's just Deanna!"
Good to hear your brick is finally dissapating. I hape you feel better every day.
