Fear Is Not A Factor

Last week we had our ward's youth conference. Our theme was "Fear Is Not A Factor."

After rock climbing in Provo Canyon, we went to a cabin in Heber.
The day before we left for youth conference, Joe had asked why I was putting so much time into my Mafia card deck that I was making.

I had printed pictures of cartoon mafia men, police, and townspeople and glued them to regular cards. I knew the game would be a big hit and I told him to just wait and see.

When everyone had unpacked, I taught them how to play the game. They ended up playing Mafia every chance they got! After about 15 games, Joe decided that he had the most fun when he was narrating the story. He loved to come up with the most gruesome deaths. I hope that the youth were able to come away from youth conference with more than how to kill people and lie about it!

Besides rock climbing and Mafia, we went boating and did a lot of fear factor- team building activities.

I had so much fun at youth conference!
