Goodbye Autumn, Hello Winter

Usually by Halloween night we have freezing cold weather. This year, we have had a few extra weeks of good weather. Yesterday I could feel that we were headed into cold weather so I picked the rest of the grapes, put the water hose away, brought in the plants that would not survive winter, and picked all of the green tomatoes. Here are a few pictures before everything is covered in snow.

The good thing about the snow this year is that Joe and I have decided to go skiing every Friday.

Skiing makes winter much more fun.

In texas I think it is kind of funny that the leaves don't turn until December. That way we can rake leaves out of our Christmas decorations.
