There Is No Sleeping In A Wal-Mart

We each did our part this Thanksgiving. Even Costco and The Lion House came through. I tried one new dish this year. It was wonderful! Whipped sweet potatoes with roasted bananas and a praline topping. I hope to remember this recipe for the future.
Joe made the green bean casserole this year because Rachael wasn't here. He made it into a smiley face.
After Sarah made the relish tray she set the table. It was very pretty.
Here is my Thanksgiving plate. The turkey was nice and juicy. I soaked it in apple cider. Sarah did a great job on the mashed potatoes and Marty made his famous fruit salad.

Joe was pretty happy with his turkey leg. A few hours after our feast we had pie with Kathleen and Eric.

I spent the most of the day planning my Black Friday attack. After studying the ads for a few hours I decided to go to Wal-Mart and take advantage of their door busters. I would write down all of the stuff that I bought, but most of them were Christmas presents and it would spoil a few surprises.

Wal-Mart was pretty calm until about 4:30 this morning. I am always amazing how many people can fit into a store. We all got the items we were assigned and we left the store at 5:30am. Happy but dead tired. There is NO sleeping in a Wal-Mart Super Center. I guess to get a good night sleep on the eve of Black Friday one needs to set up a tent and sleep outside in a parking lot.
