I wonder if there is a support group for Jacket-Aholics like there is for Alcoholics. If there is, I know that I could go each week and wear a different jacket every time for over a year.

I can't remember when I started my jacket collection, but I do know that I have a problem. My problem is that there is not enough room in the living room coat closet to store all of
my jackets. The coat hooks in the dining room are full and Joe and Marty have to hang their coats on the banister.

When I go shopping I always find myself in the jacket section. I have a hard time resisting a nice, warm jacket, especially if it is on sale. I have a jacket in just about every color and every shade. I have a jacket in just about every fabric. When you combine all of the variables.. color, shade, and fabric, it adds up to a lot of jackets!
The warmth and comfort of a jacket is perfect to wearing around the house. It is a lot easier to put on a jacket than to listen to everyone else in the house complain because I have turned the heater up.
I am always cold. I am even cold at school! I get cold because the air conditioner always comes on to cool the computers in the room. I would love a warm, cozy computer room. Instead, I wear a jacket.
I try to wear each of my jackets. I plan my outfits around my jackets so that they don't just hang in the closet unworn.
Getting rid of any of my jackets is not an option.

Hahahaha! Mom, I love you. Maybe this is where I get it from. I have always remembered you and your many jackets taking up all the closet space.
Hello, my name is Bonnie and I too am a jacket-aholic. Yesterday I texted you to tell you about a Jones of New York jacket on clearance at Sams for $9.81 available in black, brown or a light khaki, with a beautiful shimmery liner, very light, detachable hood...
Yes, you and my mom have lots of jackets.
I think it is funny that you are not admitting your problem, Megan. Your selection of jackets is quite substantial. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery, unless you just want to brag about how many jackets you have, then you may never get better but you will always look cute and you will be warm.
I wore my cute pastel plaid jacket to the PTA meeting tonight and I got a lot of compliments.
