Way To Go, Nerd!

I have become a bit of a computer nerd. It really isn't a bad thing. A few weeks ago the computer tech installed a new program on my computer so that I could control all of the computers in my class. I had one similar last year, but this one is better.

Today while teaching the puddle-jumpers (kindergarten students...actually only one puddle so far this year) I was showing them how to use a certain web site. I was using the new and improved program, and had my computer screen projected onto all of the computers in the lab. As I was teaching, the computer tech decided to pay me a visit. He stopped at the door and stood there and just smiled. After my wonderful lesson, he said, "way to go, nerd!" I am sure that was a compliment. I made his day, by using my newly installed program and even doing things on it that he did not show me how to do.

I really am quite the nerd!
